What these digests do and don't show
- A digest proves only that bytes match; it cannot authenticate authorship or dates stated inside the files.
- The OpenTimestamps proof is pending: calendars accepted it on 2026-10-18 but no Bitcoin attestation exists yet. Once verified, it shows the digest list existed no later than the attested block time, not when the ideas originated or who authored them.
- FOUNDING-ARCHIVE.md is a curated record, not a verbatim ChatGPT transcript.
- None of this is a certificate of originality or of who came first, and no AI vendor has endorsed it.
